The International Anton Rubinstein Competition 2019- CHAMBER MUSIC

Gidaszewska / Łaguniak Duo consists of violinists Marta Gidaszewska and Robert Łaguniak. The ensemble was formed in 2014. It had its origins in the M. Karłowicz Poznań General Music School in the violin class of dr Karina Gidaszewska. Currently, Marta is a student at the Music Academy in Poznań in the violin class of prof. Bartosz Bryła, while Robert is a student at the Music Academy in Łódź in the violin class of dr Karina Gidaszewska. Marta and Robert have been taking part in the International and Polish Violin Competitions for years, always winning top positions. They have over 150 awards, including at competitions in Japan, USA, Serbia, Greece, Sweden, England, France, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Poland. As a duo they conduct lively concert activities. Together they took part in many National and International Competitions. Their latest achievement is winning the first prize and six special prizes at the International Polish Music Competition named after Stanisław Moniuszko in Rzeszów (2019). Among other awards they received the first prize at the International Music Competition in Serbia (2015), the Grand Prix at the Chamber Tournament in Three Reflections in Bydgoszcz (2015), the first prize at the National Chamber Ensemble Competition in Łódź (2015) ), II prize at the Warsaw Chamber Forum (2015), Title of Vice-Champion at the International Tournament of Champions in Bydgoszcz (2015), I prize at the Chamber Tournament in three views in Bydgoszcz (2014) … The duo has in their repertoire pieces from the Baroque, Classicism, Romantic and 20th century periods.

The Quatuor Arlequin was founded in April 2019 by four young musicians of different origins and musical backgrounds. Created at the CNSMD of Lyon in France, they are currently studying with Agnès Sulem (Rosamund Quartet) and Yovan Markovitch (Danel Quartet). They also receive tuition from teachers such as Marc Danel, Peter Rainer (UdK Berlin), Marianne Piketty, Dana Ciocarlie, members of the Alben Berg Quartet and the Ebene Quartet.
Their strong individual experiences in different formations (quartets, trios) has been recognized and allowed them to play together in different places in Lyon (Salle Molière, Salle Varèse, Amphitheater of the Opera…).
In July, they participated to a project with the cuban group Miramar Boleros, opening themselves to a new kind of repertoire and culture. They are also invited to record the music of the new movie Birth of a Hero (Dna Picture & Soundlife Prod).
For the Season 2019-2020, the Quatuor Arlequin will create a piece for the Atelier d’Hiver and the 40th Anniversary of the CNSMD of Lyon in collaboration with the Danse Department. They also plan a concert serie in China (Baoli Theater).

Das STUTTGARTER KAMMERDUO mit Rosa Wember, Violine und Sebastian Fritsch, Violoncello hat sich 2010 in der „Stundienvorbereitenden Klasse“ der Stuttgarter Musikschule gefunden. Rosa Wember studierte bei Prof. Ida Bieler (Düsseldorf) und Prof. Judith Ingolfsson (Stuttgart). Sebastian Fritsch studierte bei Prof. Jean-Guihen Queyras (Freiburg). Beide setzten aktuell ihr Studium an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar (bei Prof. Dr. Friedemann Eichhorn und Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt) fort. Durch zahlreiche und erfolgreiche Auftritte in Deutchland (u.a. im Sendesaal Bremen, Mozartsaal Hamburg), Schweiz, Frankreich, Italien und den USA konnte sich dieses Ensemble etablieren. Schon 2015 wurden die jungen Künstler als Stipendiaten in den Jehudi Menuhin Verein Live Music Now Stuttgart e.V. aufgenommen. Außerdem sind sie gern gesehene Gäste bei der Mozartgesellschaft Stuttgart, dem Festival „Aigues-Vives en Musiques“, dem „Musikforum Burgfelden“ und als Instrumentalpartner der Wieder Sängerknaben. Im Februar 2019 hat das Duo im Rahmen des Felix Mendelssohn Wettbewerbs erstmals eine CD eingespielt.
Der besondere Zauber der beiden Künstler macht aus, dass sie „…ein ganz besonderes Einvernehmen als Duo haben, musikalisch wie menschlich… dass beide dabei ihr eigenes Profil ganz einbringen, statt es anpassend aufzugeben. Das gehört zu kammermusikalischen Spitzen – Formation.“ (Stuttgarter Nachrichten).

Colores Trio gegründet 2017

Energiegeladen, facettenreich, innovativ. So präsentiert sich das Colores Trio, bestehend aus Matthias Kessler (*1997), Luca Staffelbach (*1996) und Fabian Ziegler (*1995). Die jungen, preisgekrönten Musiker aus der Schweiz und aus Österreich verbinden eine langjährige, ungebrochene Leidenschaft für das Schlagwerk und eine unendliche Spielfreude. Diese Eigenschaften kombinieren sie im virtuos aufspielenden Colores Trio.

Kessler, Staffelbach und Ziegler pflegen ein breites Spektrum der perkussiven Literatur. Ihr Wissen über klassische und zeitgenössische Musik verbunden mit ihrer Kreativität und ihrem Interesse an Neuem resultiert in anspruchsvollen und einzigartig konzipierten Konzerten. Mit klassischen und zeitgenössischen Werken vermitteln sie als Colores Trio dem Publikum den Facettenreichtum der Schlaginstrumente und präsentieren stets neue Klangfarben.

Das Colores Trio konzentriert sich momentan stark auf klassische Werke, welche mit neuen Arrangements jung und frisch klingen. Auch das Entstehen neuer Kompositionen ist dem Colores Trio ein grosses Anliegen, weshalb es sich mit Herzblut für deren Beauftragung einsetzt.

Gefördert wird das Colores Trio von Klaus Schwärzler (Soloschlagzeuger im Tonhalle Orchester Zürich), Benjamin Forster (Solopauker der Berliner Philharmoniker) und Raphael Christen (Yamaha Marimba Artist und Solist), allesamt Dozenten an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Zudem arbeiteten sie auch mit dem weltbekannten Multiperkussionisten Martin Grubinger.

The Quartetto Eos, winner of the “Farulli Award” of the Music Critic “Franco Abbiati” 2018, was born in 2016 from the meeting of four young musicians inside of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome. The Quartet has participated in chamber music masterclasses with the Masters Francesco Fiore, Emil Rovner, Patrick Juedt (ECMA), Lawrence Dutton (Emerson Quartet), Marcello Bufalini and David Romano. In spite of his recent founding, the Quartet already collaborated with Calogero Palermo and Gustavo Nuñez (first clarinet and first bassoon of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and performed at the Academic Hall of the Conservatory of San Cecilia, the Auditorium of the Seraphicum, the Teatro Off Off, the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Teatro Garibaldi in Caserta and other.

It also collaborates periodically with important musical institutions such as the “Società del Quartetto di Milano”, the “Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti” (IUC), the “Gioventù Musicale d’Italia”, the “Associazione Mozart Italia Sede di Terni” and the “Associazione Filarmonica Umbra”.

In 2018 Quartetto Eos was a guest on the national radio with the programs “Radio3 Suite” and “La Stanza della Musica” (RaiRadio3). In 2019 they received a special mention in the “Sergio Dragoni” National Competition for String Quartets. Since 2017, the Eos Quartet has been selected to be part of the “Le Dimore del Quartetto” project and has been admitted to the advanced specialization course for String Quartet in the Quartetto di Cremona class at the “Accademia Walter Stauffer”.

Die Zwillingsschwestern Yulia Orlova (Violine) und Tatiana Orlova (Klavier) stehen schon seit Kindesbeinen auf der Bühne und haben zusammen das Orloff Duo gegründet. Ihre Leidenschaft für Musik wurde mit dem Internationalen T. Gaidamovitsch Kammermusikwettbewerb Preis belohnt. Das Repertoire des Duos reicht von Bach über die Komponisten der Romantik bis hin zur Interpretation und Erweiterung zeitgenössischer Musik. Yulia und Tatiana haben die traditionsreiche Gnesin-Musikakademie in Moskau abgeschlossen und setzen ab September 2019 ihre gemeinsame Ausbildung als Duo an der Privatuniversität für Musik und Kunst in Wien in der Klasse von Prof. Denise Benda fort. Yulia hat zudem mit Bestnote den Master in Musik an der Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg abgeschlossen. Tatiana hat hingegen an der berühmtenn Frankfurter Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst den Master der Musik erlangt. Zusätzlich besuchen Sie Meisterkurse mit Voces Quartett, Dmitri Berlinsky und Aleksandr Bonduriansky, um ihre musikalischen Können zu vertiefen. Neben ihrem Studium spielte das Duo auch in vielen musikalischen Projekten und auf Festivals, wie beispielweise „Music in the Mountains“ (USA), dem Hochschulpodium in Bad Brückenau (Deutschland), dem Jugendstilfestival in Bad Nauheim (Deutschland), dem International Kammermusikfestival in Kazan (Russland) oder Anacapri Masterclasses (Italien).
