Klavierabend im Rahmen des Konzertexamens
CHORONG RYOU
With rich musicality and outstanding piano techniques, Chorong Ryou was born in Choong-Ju, South Korea. She began studying piano with her mother at the age of four and won the top honors all first prize of many musical competitions including Jungbu National Student Music Competition, U-Ruck Festival Competition, and Korean Academy Association Music Competition. She entered Chungbuk Arts High School as the top of the school and studied with Prof. Myung Soon Lee and Prof. Kyung Ok Kim. Ryou won the first prize of Chungju University Music Competition and graduated from high school as the top of the school. She continued her study with Prof. Jung Hee Chun at Hanyang University College of Music. Awarded the top of the class from the school, she made debut recital at Youngsan Art Hall, Seoul, South Korea. After the debut recital, she continued Masters program at same school with Prof. Eun Soo Son and earned degree with high honor. After graduation, she has studied with Prof. Alexander Svyatkin, former professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory.
As an active accompanist, Ryou has been a member of the Primavera and Klavier Poem in South Korea. She has performed variety kinds of music with numerous prominent musicians.
She has currently studied with Prof. Alla Blatow in Konzertexamen- program.
