The Final Round of this competition was not  in the Academy building this year, only online.  The life restrictions due to the Corona Pandemic and the travel limitations unfortunately din’t allowed it anymore.

In accord with the Jury, the Academy decided to opt for a Video Final Round.
The Jury of the Anton Rubinstein International Viola Competition 2020 awarded the following prizes:

1st Prize – not assigned

2st Prize – 750 € to  Julie Park and 750 € to Shuchen Liu

3rd Prize – 500  € to Kinga Wojdalska and 500 € to Yagmur Erdogan

Special Prize for the best interpretation of a modern work – Mila Gafner
