general information
The anton rubinstein academy focuses on challenging talented young musicians at a critical point in their lives: between the phases of gaining professional experience and receiving public acclaim. Augmenting the conservatory program, the Academy features intensive piano and chamber music courses that offer the opportunity to heighten artistic and professional qualifications and increase concert experience. Academy students enjoy the opportunity to appear in concert in the Anton Rubinstein Internationale Music Academy in Düsseldorf and the Lew Kopelew Forum in Cologne.
The master’s class in primarily for students, but also for postgraduate students, interested in furthering their studies. They expressly undergo preparation for both concerts and music competitions.

preparatory studies Talented youth who aspire to a professional career an prepare for the entrance exam for conservatories during the so called preparatory studies.
The entrance examination takes place in September and February. After successful completion, each student receives a study contract. This contract defines the financial and legal relationship between the student and the Anton Rubinstein Academy.
final examination After successful completion, each student receives a diploma from the Anton Rubinstein Academy, as well as the possibility to publicly appear at the Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy in Düsseldorf.

The usual duration of study is 4 - 6
semesters, 2 to 3 years.
A semester has 15 study units, master piano and
chamber music
i.e. 60 minutes preparatory studies.
general information Classes can be German, English, French or Russian. Steinway concert grand pianos are used. In certain cases it is possible to offer scholarships or discounts for highly talented and/or needy young musicians. The Academy offers a one time orientation via a one-hour consultation if so desired. Passive participans are welcome anytime - the visit is free of charge.
